I realize it’s been a while – so I thought it was time for an update on the family.
Garrett is wrapping up another year of college. He continues to do well and we are all looking forward to him coming home for the summer!!!
Jeremy, Rose, and Mikah have adjusted very well in their new home. Jeremy is doing really well in his new store. He continues to advance and make a name for himself with Lowe’s. We are very proud of him!!! Jeremy & Rose have set up their own blog. You can view it at http://www.tennwheelers.blogspot.com . By the way guys -- it's been a while since you posted -- we're having withdrawels!! We look forward to seeing you all soon.
Kaili – gees where to I begin??!!! She is now a full-time student in the Two Room at her school. She was ready for transition to that room the first of March – but they had to wait because some other children were not completely potty trained and could not got to the Three Room. But everyone is in their new rooms now!! Kaili has adjusted well to her new classroom. She is now drinking from a regular cup – and doing really well with that in just 2 weeks time. Kaili has shown more and more interest in potty training – so we have begun that process. Just this week it was not good enough to just sit on the potty – she started saying “diaper off Mommy, diaper off.” So – I went to Wal-Mart today to get Pull-Ups. While I was there – Randy called to say that Kaili actually used her potty for the first time today!!!! So we are officially underway!!! Now – hopefully it will be a short process. Everyone keeps telling me how much easier it is for girls to learn – I guess we will see!!!
We ask that everyone continue to keep Randy’s dad in your prayers. He will have his second round (1 every 3 weeks) of chemo treatment this coming Friday (the 20th). During his first treatment, Ray got very sick (flu-like) on the third and forth days after his treatment. We are hoping that was only his body reacting to the treatment and that the next round will be easier on his body. If all goes well, he should finish all his treatments around the middle of July. We just pray this treatment will allow Ray to have more time with his family.
Randy and I are still doing great. We had a great Easter holiday. Deborah’s parents came down to visit and of course, to spoil Kaili some too!!! We all a great time and look forward to seeing them again sometime soon.
